Hill Wallack LLP Partner Michael J. Shavel to speak at PBI Seminar
Seminar
Short Sales, Deed in Lieu and Receiverships
Learn what the real estate practitioner needs to know:
As foreclosures continue to rise, lenders and borrowers are increasingly turning to short sales as a viable workout solution. Where a short sale isn't a possibility, lenders are often expoloring Deeds-In-Lieu (D-I-L) of Foreclosure or appointing receivers to mitigate losses, as well as to avoid fraud and mismanagement. This course is designed to educate attorneys for lenders and borrowers alike in the nuances which arise in short sales, D-I-Ls and receiverships so that they can advise clients when traditional forclosure isn't their best solution.
