    AVAILABLE ATTORNEY POSITIONS


    TEMPORARY 5 TO 6 MONTH LEGAL BILLING SPECIALIST:

    Hill Wallack LLP is looking for a Billing Specialist to work in our Princeton NJ office. The ideal candidate will have prior billing experience. Law firm experience. Candidate must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills in order to develop and maintain trusted working relationships with clients, attorneys and other personnel within the firm. Demonstrate ability to work in a energetic environment. The ability to resolve issues effectively, follow up on billing issues, and handle requests/questions is also necessary. Responsibilities include processing and monitoring high volume legal invoices.

    Duties Include (but not limited):

    • Responsible for preparing and issuing proformas for all billable time and cost.
    • Ability to run two bill cycles of proformas (15th and 31st) of each month for the review by Responsible Attorney.
    • Meeting departmental and client billing deadlines.
    • Assume the responsibility of sorting, organizing, and sending bills timely and accurately.
    • Edit proformas, apply trust, unallocated funds, and courtesy credits where applicable.
    • Assist in responding timely to general billing inquiries directed by all levels of management, staff, attorneys and clients.
    • Ability to execute complex bills in a timely manner from initial matter intake through final bill production and submission.
    • Ability to handle a high volume of bills per month.
    • Provide expense detailed back-up to accompany invoices as required.
    • Review and verify accuracy of billing and supporting documentation as required.
    • Ensuring that all electronic invoices are submitted accurately while maintaining E-billing websites including the resubmission of any rejected invoice.
    • Input billing narrative notes on matters, and keep information current



    PARALEGAL – BANKRUPTCY & CREDITOR’S RIGHTS


    Hill Wallack LLP has an immediate opening for a Bankruptcy Paralegal in its Cedar Knolls, NJ office. Candidate should have minimum 3-5 years of experience as a paralegal in the area of bankruptcy and creditors’ rights. Strong administrative skills, such as spelling and grammar, proof reading, spelling and grammar, are necessary. Knowledge of e-filing is required. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Adobe. Knowledge of LPS and Tempo preferred. This position is for someone seeking to work independently within the support of a team environment. Competitive salary commensurate with experience.

    Hill Wallack LLP is looking for a full time New York State licensed attorney with 3-7 years experience in commercial litigation/creditors rights experience for its New York City office (Midtown East). The matters to be handled involve commercial and residential foreclosures, bankruptcies, lender liability defense, commercial collections, workouts and matters related thereto.     ATTORNEY – INSURANCE DEFENSE, INSURANCE COVERAGE & LITIGATION

    Hill Wallack LLP is looking for a full time New Jersey licensed attorney with 3 - 7 years’ civil litigation experience to defend a wide variety of lawsuits and claims in state and federal court and state agencies. Such matters involve the defense of complex negligence claims, employment practices, construction accidents, auto and premises liability, first and third-party insurance litigation and claims, and various claims against or involving public entities.     LITIGATION PARALEGAL

    Hill Wallack LLP’s Cherry Hill office seeks a skilled Litigation Paralegal with 3+ years litigation experience. Experience must include drafting and filing motions, preparing trial exhibits, putting together briefs and other pleadings, answering discovery, etc. Candidates must be motivated, well organized with good interpersonal, communication and computer skills. College degree or paralegal certificate preferred. Employment and/or Community Association experience a plus. Salary commensurate with experience.

    FULL TIME RECEPTIONIST/ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

    Hill Wallack LLP is looking for a permanent full-time receptionist/ administrative assistant in their Princeton Office. Experience in the legal field is an asset but not a requirement. Position requires experience working in a professional office setting with a high level of activity, confidentiality, and integrity. Candidates should possess exceptional communication skills and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to multi-task and easily adapt to change. It is essential that candidates can meet deadlines; have ability to anticipate events and follow through; pay strict attention to detail.

    ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Answering telephone and online inquires
    • Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
    • Direct visitors to the appropriate person and conference room
    • Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
    • Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges)
    • Schedule appointments
    • Prepare correspondence;
    • Maintain marketing records.
    • Register attorneys for events, seminars and programs
    • Order marketing materials
    • Scanning and saving documents
    • Entering time for attorneys and
    • Additional administrative support as needed

    Experience is a plus, but it is not a requirement, we will train the right person.

    SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
    • Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
    • Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers)
    • Professional attitude and appearance
    • Solid written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
    • Excellent organizational skills
    • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks

    • High school degree; additional certification in Office Management is a plus
