    FAMILY LAW ASSOCIATE

    Hill Wallack LLP seeks an attorney with 8+ years of experience in New Jersey matrimonial and family law to become part of our rapidly growing team. The candidate will independently handle matters from start to conclusion under the guidance of senior attorneys, including client meetings, negotiations, and courtroom argument.

    Business development is also a significant part of attorney development and responsibility at Hill Wallack. The successful candidate is entrepreneurial and looking for further growth with our support and training. An existing book of business is a plus but not required.

    The position will initially be based out of the Princeton, New Jersey office, but there will be future flexibility to work from any of the firm’s New Jersey offices located in Princeton, Cedar Knolls, Red Bank, or Cherry Hill.

    Qualifications:

    • Bar admission in New Jersey required. Admission in New York and/or Pennsylvania a plus.
    • Judicial clerkship in Family Law a plus.
    • Minimum of 8 years relevant experience.
    • Ability to work independently and part of the team, and to be self-organize, prioritize, and manage timelines.
    • Must be detail-oriented and routinely self-manage to meet deadlines in a timely manner.
    • Ability to multi-task to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Solid written and verbal language and communication skills, including honed editing and proofreading.
    • Fluency in multiple languages and/or knowledge of multiple cultural backgrounds a plus.

    INSURANCE DEFENSE, INSURANCE COVERAGE & LITIGATION  (Princeton Office) 

    Hill Wallack LLP is looking for a New Jersey licensed attorney with 3 -7 years’ experience in insurance defense and/or insurance coverage. Attorney will be responsible to defend lawsuits asserting claims based upon negligence, product liability, governmental liability, professional liability, and employment practices liability.  Attorney will also work with partners regarding first and third party insurance litigation.  Candidate must have an ability to work independently and effectively with colleagues and clients in a remote setting. Candidate must be proficient in technology, legal research and other computer/web based data sources. Writing sample and references are required. Clerkship following law school is preferred.     HELP DESK SUPPORT (PRINCETON OFFICE)

    We are seeking a detail-oriented, thorough, and organized help desk employee to join our team.

    In this position, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to clients with computer systems, hardware, or software issues and perform the steps necessary to resolve the issue(s). Must be able to lift up to 50Lbs.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Knowledge of troubleshooting Microsoft Windows 10 and Office 365
    • Answer incoming email and phone support requests and track requests in our ticketing system.
    • Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, printers and scanners
    • Create Data CDs and other forms of portable media
    • Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary
    • Manage the ticket queue and ensure tickets are resolved and closed in a timely manner
    • Respond to end-user requests for updates on ticket status and promptly follow up as needed.
    • Reliable and timely, strong work ethic

    CREDITORS' RIGHTS/EVICTION PARALEGAL - (Red Bank Office)

    Hill Wallack LLP is seeking a Paralegal for the firm's Creditors' Rights Department in the Red Bank office. Candidate should have a minimum 2 years of experience as a paralegal in foreclosure and evictions. Municipal law a plus. This individual must have experience in representing residential mortgage servicers. This position is for someone seeking to work independently within the support of a team environment.     LEGAL SECRETARY - COMMUNITY ASSOCIATIONS (Princeton Office)

    Hill Wallack LLP has an immediate opening for a legal secretary to provide administrative and secretarial support to a team of community association attorneys in their Princeton office. Responsibilities include assisting attorneys and other staff as needed.

    This individual must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software programs. The qualified Legal Secretary will be a team player who can manage independent projects in a deadline-driven environment while utilizing strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

    TRADEMARK PARALEGAL/ASSISTANT (Princeton Office)

    Strong administrative background with trademark experience required. Duties include managing docketing software, preparing documents and communications specific to trademarks and patents. Facilitate and schedule meetings. Manage follow-ups and deadlines. Interface with attorneys, clients, agents and inventors. Knowledge of and experience with USPTO Trademark and Patent database. Attention to detail, resourceful, self-starter with can do winning attitude and desire to constantly learn and succeed in the practice of law as a career.

    Responsibilities:
    • Assist attorneys with IP matters related to prosecution, litigation, deposition and trial prep, primarily involving Trademarks
    • Prep filings with TEAS and PAIR
    • Correspond and interact with opposing counsel, federal agents, clients, potential clients, foreign counsel and vendors
    • Document review, proof reading, editing and formatting
    • Maintaining calendars and communicating with attorneys to meet deadlines
    • Assisting with business development, marketing and client retention
    • Assisting with case management, maintenance and organization of files
