    Hill Wallack LLP Attorney Selected to Serve on Bucks County Workforce Investment Board

    Yardley, PA. -- Carolyn M. Plump, counsel in the Yardley, Pa. office of Hill Wallack LLP has been selected to serve a three-year term on the Bucks County Workforce Investment Board.

    The Supreme Court of New Jersey denied a petition for certification of the case, Gerald v. Hopewell Valley Regional School District, et. al., allowing the lower court’s earlier dismissal of the suit to stand.

    The Bucks County Workforce Investment Board, located in Bristol, Pa., strives to promote, drive and ensure an effective workforce in Bucks County that is aligned with economic development.

    Ms. Plump, a member of the firm’s Employment and Labor Law Practice Group, concentrates her practice in the representation of companies in labor and employment matters, including litigation, arbitration and mediation before federal and state courts and administrative agencies. She has extensive experience counseling employers and providing training for companies regarding compliance with labor and employment laws relating to wellness programs in addition to hiring and firing practices, discrimination, harassment, wages and benefits, discipline and social media.

    Throughout her career, Ms. Plump has successfully represented and/or served on the legal teams of a variety of high-profile cases in the areas of employment, commercial projects and government. She also is active in the leadership and pro bono efforts within the communities in which she has practiced. She has published extensively and is widely quoted in the media regarding employment issues.
