    Hill Wallack Lawyers Jonathan Katz and Terry Kessler to Speak at the CAI-Keystone Conference and Expo

    On Thursday, June 17, Jonathan Katz and Terry Kessler will present sessions at the CAI-Keystone Conference and Expo
     
    Jonathan will present a micro session from 8:15am to 8:45am on “Responsible Re-opening: What’s the State of COVID Restrictions in my State? covering the current state of COVID-19 restrictions on the impact community associations’ decisions on whether or not to open the pool or the clubhouse or other indoor and outdoor facilities. The session will also include an open Q&A to answer audience questions. Jonathan will be joined on the panel by Josephine Lee from Clemons Richter & Reiss.
     
    Terry Kessler will present a breakout session from 10:15am to 11:15am on the future of electronic voting and virtual meetings. This session will explore the authority of associations to conduct electronic voting, as well as the amendments or resolutions necessary to prevent procedural challenges. This presentation will also look at what Roberts Rules of Order has to say about these changes. RRO is the de facto standard for how meeting should be run, and there is an entire section related to electronic meetings. Terry will be joined on the panel by Stefan Richter from Clemons Richter & Reiss.
