Ms. De Leon focuses her practice in the areas of residential and commercial foreclosures; evictions, landlord/tenant disputes, garnishment, replevins and debt collection.
Prior to joining HW, Ms. De Leon was a litigation associate where she handled litigation resulting from residential foreclosures, evictions, garnishment, replevins and debt collection. Previously as managing partner, Ms. De Leon successfully assisted in building and managing a nationwide foreclosure department. Due to her extensive experience and knowledge of the Florida law, Ms. De Leon provided onsite training to high volume clients. Ms. De Leon was also invited to speak on numerous panels in the financial service industry regarding Florida law and management of cases. Ms. De Leon regularly attended Conferences and Summits provided by Five Star, Legal League 100, NAMWOLF and ALFN. In addition, she was also nominated and recognized as one of the Top 50 in the Industry.
Ms. De Leon received her law degree from Florida A&M University College of Law in 2009. While in law school, she was a member of the Hispanic American Law Student Association and a law clerk with the Department of Business and Professional Regulation Division of Real Estate in Orlando. Ms. De Leon is a graduate of the University of Central Florida. Ms. De Leon is licensed to practice law in the State of Florida.
In her community, she is a volunteer with TransLife, a non-profit organ and tissue donation organization, where she participates in the Organ Donor Picnic and Donor Remembrance Day events.
Ms. De Leon is bilingual and fluent in Spanish.
