  • Leslie Rushing is an Equity Partner within our Creditors Rights Department and is the Managing Attorney of the firm’s Florida Office. Leslie has served the financial services industry throughout her legal career. Prior to joining Hill Wallack, LLP, she worked as the Co-Vice Chair of a National Law Firm’s Bankruptcy Division. Mrs. Rushing specializes in default service management, creditors' rights, and real estate legal services with a focus on bankruptcy in the representation of Creditors in all Chapters. She handles lender representations, including loan servicing and default-related legal services ranging from bankruptcy, loss mitigation, foreclosure, evictions, and closings.

    Raised in North Carolina, Mrs. Rushing received her B.A. in Political Science from the University of North Carolina in 2008. While receiving her undergraduate degree, Leslie worked in corporate law and real estate in Davidson, North Carolina. She went on to receive her Juris Doctorate from Nova Southeastern University in May 2012. Mrs. Rushing was an editor of the International Research and Citation Guide and was awarded Dean’s list and Book Award in Bankruptcy, Florida Land Development, and Real Property. Mrs. Rushing was recognized with a special honor upon graduation from law school for completing pro bono hours and was a liaison for NSU Law.

    Leslie Rushing is licensed to practice law in Florida and is admitted in the U.S. District Court for the Southern, Middle and Northern Districts of Florida as well as the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.
