- Lanz's practice focuses on representing financial services companies in the litigation of state and federal consumer finance laws. He advises national banks and investors to resolve a variety of disputes related to retail banking operations, credit reporting, mortgage servicing, and auto finance. Lanz has counseled clients on regulatory compliance strategies in the development of financial services products governed by state agencies nationwide. He has handled compliance matters for a range of FinTech companies, mortgage lenders, automotive finance companies, collection agencies, and student loan servicers.
While gaining significant experience in financial services licensing, Lanz helped launch two unique proprietary software licensing platforms. Such platforms streamlined the process for FinTech companies to manage nationwide licenses across various industries including money services business, mortgage, automotive finance, debt collection, and real estate.
