- James N. Rooney is an Associate at Hill Wallack LLP in the Yardley, Pennsylvania office, where he is a member of the firm’s Creditors’ Rights/Bankruptcy practice group.
Mr. Rooney focuses his practice on civil litigation and the representation of financial institutions, loan servicers, and businesses in all aspects of creditors rights and bankruptcy as well as residential and commercial mortgage lending and enforcement of lenders’ rights. Mr. Rooney also has a background in construction litigation and criminal defense, which informs his practical, solutions-oriented approach to client representation.
Mr. Rooney is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. He also served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Darlene J. Pereksta, J.S.C., in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Criminal Division. He earned his J.D. from Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law and his B.A. in History from Millersville University.
