Representative Matters- Represented the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey in a $20 million acquisition of the historic Seaview Resort from LaSalle Hotels, LLC
- Assisted in a workout with an operator of a luxury hotel and limited service hotel in Northern New Jersey and also assisted in obtaining financing and land use issues
- Assisted a hotel operator with respect to refinancing possibilities regarding branded multi-unit hotels nationwide
- Represented financial institution in several new hospitality construction financings in New York and New Jersey
- Represented financial institution and lead lenders in restructuring debt for large hospitality company consisting of numerous flagged hotels located in the Caribbean, Florida and California
- Represented hotel owner/operator in the purchase of a flagged hotel in Central New Jersey
- Represented hotel owner/operator in the sale of a flagged hotel in Eastern Ohio
- Represented hotel owner/operator in the refinancing of a flagged hotel in the Texas panhandle
- Represented hotel owner/operator in the refinancing of a flagged hotel in Upstate New York
- Represented multiple restaurant and hotel owners with respect to leasing issues
- Represented owners/applicants for issuance of state issued concessionaire’s permit and municipality issued license for the sale and on-site consumption of alcoholic beverages, and address renewal of licenses and permits and regulatory compliance concerning alcoholic beverages
- Represented bidders looking to purchase a multi-unit restaurant franchise out of bankruptcy in various districts throughout the nation
- Represented national hotel and restaurant chains in defense of workers’ compensation claims
- Represented national hotel conglomerate in insurance related litigation
- Represented hotels and restaurants in labor negotiations with unions
- Represented hotels and restaurants in labor proceedings against the unions
- Represented various restaurants in employment matters involving allegations of discrimination, retaliation and wage and hour issues
