

Daria B. Janka, Esq.
CounselCherry Hill, NJ- Daria B. Janka litigates cases within Hill Wallack’s Employment Law practice group where she concentrates her practice on employment law and complex litigation. She represents employers in a wide range of workplace matters, including discrimination, harassment, and wrongful termination, as well as disputes involving non-compete and other restrictive covenant agreements. In addition, Daria handles construction and commercial litigation, representing clients in disputes arising from project performance, contract interpretation, and enforcement of contractual rights and obligations. Her practice reflects a strong emphasis on strategic advocacy, precision, and effective courtroom representation.
Beyond her Juris Doctor, Daria earned Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Trial Advocacy from the nationally ranked Temple University Beasley School of Law, a highly regarded program focused on advanced litigation techniques. Through this intensive training, she further honed her courtroom skills, including evidence presentation, witness examination, and persuasive argument. Daria has served as court appointed Judge Pro Tempore at the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas. She is also appointed by the Supreme Court of New Jersey to serve on the Ethics Committee for District IV of New Jersey. Daria interned for the Honorable Renée Marie Bumb, Chief, United States District Judge for the District of New Jersey.
Daria was selected several times for inclusion on the New Jersey Super Lawyers Rising Star list. Super Lawyers, part of Thompson Reuters, selects attorneys for their “Super Lawyers” and “Rising Star” list using “a patented multiphase selection process. Peer nominations and evaluations are combined with independent research.”
Daria was born and raised in Sofia, Bulgaria. Prior to immigrating to the United States, she attended Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski.” Daria is trilingual in Bulgarian, French and English. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys exploring the world through travel, with a particular passion for scuba diving and discovering new underwater landscapes. Daria obtained a certification in the pathophysiology of decompression illness before earning her basic scuba license—an approach that reflects her commitment to thorough knowledge and careful risk mitigation, whether charting a dive or planning a safe return to the surface.
