  • Christopher Lugara, Esq. is an associate in the Princeton office of Hill Wallack LLP and a member of the Community Associations practice group. Chris concentrates his practice in community association law as he routinely provides legal services and advice to HOA, condominium and cooperative Boards throughout the State in all aspects of governance such as, contract negotiations, annual elections, collections and general corporate governance. Chris also has extensive experience in the areas of landlord tenant and real estate.

    A sought-after voice on community association trends, Chris’ legal insights have been featured in national publications, such as The New York Times. He has lectured on short-term rentals and Airbnbs for the New Jersey State Bar Association (NJSBA) as part of their Continuing Legal Education (CLE) programming. Chris has further presented on essential corporate governance topics, such as fiduciary duties, Board meeting protocols, and the implementation of codes of conduct.

    Chris has been affiliated with the New Jersey Chapter of Community Associations Institute (CAI-NJ) since 2019. Chris is a CAI-NJ Certified Educated Business Partner and has also been a member of the CAI-NJ Business Partner Committee.

    Chris is a proud graduate of the University of Scranton. He graduated from Rutgers Law School-Newark in 2018 with a Certificate in Corporate and Business Law. After law school, Chris clerked for the Honorable J. Randall Corman, J.S.C. in the Special Civil Part for Middlesex County Superior Court.

    Chris was admitted to the New Jersey Bar in 2019 and was admitted to practice in the New Jersey District Court in 2020. Chris has been a certified mediator in the State since 2018. Chris also obtained his real estate license in September 2023.
