Aleksandra specializes in representing financial institutions, lenders, and other creditors in Chapter 7, 11, and 13 bankruptcy proceedings. Aleksandra’s focus is on protecting creditor interests throughout the bankruptcy process including claim filing, asset recovery, stay relief motions, plan negotiations, loss mitigation and adversary proceedings.
With a deep understanding of bankruptcy law and practical strategies for maximizing recoveries, Aleksandra guides clients through complex insolvency matters with precision and efficiency. She has experience representing secured and unsecured creditors, loan servicers, and corporate clients in federal bankruptcy courts and related state court litigation.
Aleksandra is licensed to practice in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania and is admitted to the U.S. District Court of Eastern, Western, Northern and Southern District of New York. Aleksandra was born and raised in Bulgaria prior to coming to the United States on a full tennis scholarship. Besides Bulgarian and English, Aleksandra is fluent in German, Serbian and Croatian.
