Kenneth R. Sauter Named President Of The New Jersey Chapter Of The Community Associations Institute
Princeton, NJ January 7, 2015 --- Hill Wallack LLP partner Kenneth R. Sauter has been named President of the New Jersey chapter of the Community Associations Institute (CAI-NJ) for the 2015 term. His appointment became official on January 1, 2015.
Mr. Sauter is a member of Hill Wallack LLP’s Community Associations, Real Estate, and Banking & Financial Services practice groups. His practice is devoted to real estate matters, with particular emphasis on the representation of community associations. His practice includes commercial real estate transactions, leasing and financing; representation of commercial lenders, including community association lenders; land use and development; and general business representation.
Mr. Sauter says of his appointment, “I am honored and grateful to be elected President of CAI-NJ by my fellow Directors and look forward to serving and promoting the interests of all chapter members.”
A member of CAI-NJ’s Board of Directors since 2008, Mr. Sauter has previously served as Chairperson for its Legislative Action, Editorial and Education committees. He received CAI-NJ’s Speaker of the Year award in 1999, 2001 and 2005. Mr. Sauter is also a member of the CAI National College of Community Association Lawyers. He frequently lectures on issues relating to community associations and commercial lending and is the author of several published articles.
The New Jersey chapter of CAI is dedicated to enhancing the quality of community association living, through education, legislative advocacy and professional development. CAI-NJ is one of the largest in the United States, with over 1,600 members and provides continuing education and resources to help members stay abreast of the current news, laws and issues affecting community associations in the State of New Jersey.
