Princeton, NJ January 5, 2015 --- Two new lawyers have recently joined Hill Wallack LLP: Christopher R. Geary and Michael S. Savett.

Christopher R. Geary is counsel in the Princeton, NJ office of the firm, where he is a member of the Community Associations and Construction Industry practice groups. Mr. Geary handles multiple large-scale construction claims on behalf of general contractors and developers, including claims and construction defect claims and has run multiple large construction defect cases on behalf of property owners.

Prior to joining Hill Wallack LLP, Mr. Geary served as Assistant Counsel to the New Jersey Schools Development Authority. He earned his J.D. from Boston University School of Law and his B.A. from The University of Michigan. Mr. Geary is admitted to practice in the states of New York, New Jersey, Arizona and Colorado.

Michael S. Savett is counsel in the Princeton, NJ office of Hill Wallack LLP, where he is a member of the Insurance Coverage and Trial & Insurance Defense practice groups. Mr. Savett has represented property-and-casualty insurance companies in complex coverage matters involving commercial liability, property, employment practices and errors-and-omissions claims, as well as, insurers in coverage and bad faith litigation involving business owners, homeowners, automobile, property and environmental claims. He has counseled insurance companies on methods of bad faith and coverage dispute avoidance and prepared briefs for, argued, and successfully litigated appeals in New Jersey and New York courts on behalf of insurance companies. He has also served as claims counsel in the environmental division of a major property-and-casualty insurer, managing environmental, construction defect and professional liability disputes.

Mr. Savett earned his J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law and his B.A. from the University of Delaware. He is admitted to practice in the states of New Jersey, Pennsylvania and New York, as well as in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania, and Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.
