Barbara M. Kirk Elected to Board of Directors of Pennsbury Manor Historical Society
Yardley, PA November 13, 2014 --- Hill Wallack LLP partner Barbara M. Kirk has been named a member of the Board of Directors of the Pennsbury Manor Historical Society which is owned and administered by the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission. The Board of Directors works with the state of Pennsylvania to maintain the property, promote visitors, and govern the overall membership.
Pennsbury Manor, which opened to the public in 1939, is a reconstruction of William Penn’s home along the Delaware River, sitting on 43 acres in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. It is a private non-profit organization that works with the Commonwealth to provide educational programs and initiatives. Pennsbury Manor’s “signature Hands-on-History” approach to learning means that visitors of all ages can have a lively and interactive experience.
Ms. Kirk is a partner in the Yardley, Pa. office of Hill Wallack LLP, where she is a member of the Family Law and Municipal Law practice groups. She concentrates in domestic relations, custody, and adoption. Admitted to practice in Pennsylvania (1996) and New Jersey (1996), Ms. Kirk earned her J.D. from Temple University Law School and her B.A., magna cum laude, from Holy Family College.
