COAH Update: Goodbye Growth Share - Hello Again, Rounds One & TwoThe New Jersey Supreme Court's Mount Laurel decisions have recognized a constitutional obligation on the part of municipalities to provide their fair share of affordable housing. Mount Laurel II decision, which imposed a judicial remedy, was followed by the enactment of the Fair Housing Act and the establishment of the Council on Affordable Housing (COAH). Various rounds of regulations and numerous challenges, spanning several years, followed the issuance of Third Round rules, which tied a municipality's housing obligation to its growth rate.
This informative and timely seminar, presentedy by some of the attorneys who have been directly involved in Mt. Laurel cases, explores what this important decision means to municipalities, developers and affordable housing advocates.

Stephen M. Eisdorfer, Esq. is a partner in the Princeton, N.J. office of Hill Wallack LLP. He is a member of the Land Use Solutions, Environmental Issues, and Redevelopment practice groups.
