Hill Wallack LLP attorney Nicole Perdoni-Byrne has been named to the New Jersey Law Journal's 2010 ‘40 Under 40’. She is one of a few attorneys in the State of New Jersey to become Designated Attorney

Princeton, N.J. -- Hill Wallack LLP attorney Nicole Perdoni-Byrne has been named to the New Jersey Law Journal's 2011 ‘40 Under 40,’ which features up-and-coming attorneys throughout the state. Nicole, 39, is an associate in the firm's Real Estate, Banking & Financial Services and Public Finance Practice Groups.

Ms. Perdoni-Byrne represents financial institutions in a wide variety of commercial lending and public finance transactions, as well as purchasers and sellers of commercial real estate and business assets.

    Leader in NJ SBA Lending

Ms. Perdoni-Byrne is one of a few attorneys in the State of New Jersey to become a Designated Attorney under the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) 504 Loan Program. She has spent the past several months educating firm banking clients and contacts as to how the program works, how it is beneficial to their institutions and how it helps stimulate economic growth.

This federal program has become a crucial conduit for commercial lending as other channels of capital have dried up. To become an SBA 504 Designated Attorney involved taking an intensive training course in Georgia, and obtaining formal recognition from the U.S. SBA District Counsel.

Ms. Perdoni-Byrne also represents lenders in transactions involving commercial lines of credit, acquisitions, construction loans and refinancing. In addition to her work in commercial lending, she represents clients in public finance matters, such as transactions involving New Jersey Economic Development Authority Tax Exempt Direct Purchase Bonds.

An active member of the community, Ms. Perdoni-Byrne serves with the Habitat for Humanity – Millstone Basin – as a member of the Family Selection Committee, which helps to disseminate information to the public concerning building projects, and educates applicants on the process of being selected as a family to receive services. The committee also analyzes applications and participates in the selection of chosen families. She has been asked to participate in the grant-writing process for the next project.

Ms. Perdoni-Byrne earned her law degree from Seton Hall University School of Law and is admitted to practice in New Jersey.
