Princeton, NJ - February 18, 2026:
Hill Wallack LLP is pleased to announce that Mitchell T. Grayson and Andrew B. Cohen have joined the firm as Partners, further strengthening the firm’s capabilities across its Trusts and Estates, Corporate, and Litigation practices.
Mitchell T. Grayson joins Hill Wallack as a member of the firm’s Trusts and Estates and Corporate practice groups. A highly accomplished transactional and tax attorney, Grayson focuses his practice on estate planning, for business owners, developers, and high net worth individuals and families, purchases and sales of businesses, and commercial real estate matters. His multidisciplinary background includes a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation, a B.S. in Business Administration, and licensure as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). This unique combination of legal, tax, and accounting experience enables him to provide pragmatic counsel and structure sophisticated transactions designed to minimize federal and estate tax exposure.
Grayson represents clients in corporate and commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, financing arrangements, and entity structuring. He also advises franchisees throughout New Jersey and across the East Coast in franchise acquisitions, agreement negotiation, and dispute resolution, helping protect their business interests at every stage. He is an active member of the American Bar Association Sections of Taxation, Real Property, and Business Law; the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants; the Estate and Financial Council of Southern New Jersey; and the New Jersey State Bar Association.
Andrew B. Cohen joins the firm as a Partner in its Litigation practice. An experienced litigator, Cohen focuses on complex civil and commercial litigation, with particular depth in construction law, commercial disputes, and real estate-related litigation. He represents businesses, property owners, and industry professionals in matters involving contract disputes, construction liens, change order claims, collections, employee theft claims, and personal injury litigation, delivering strategic guidance designed to resolve disputes efficiently while protecting long-term business interests.
A significant portion of Cohen’s practice involves construction and development-related disputes. He represents developers, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and lenders in matters involving delays, payment disputes, scope changes, and performance obligations. He has appeared in state and federal courts throughout New Jersey and brings substantial trial and appellate experience. Cohen previously served as Special Litigation Counsel to Harrison Township in Gloucester County, where he successfully defended claims at both trial and appellate levels and pursued bond claims that enabled completion of unfinished subdivision improvements. He earned his law degree from Temple University School of Law and is admitted to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
“We are delighted to welcome Mitchell and Andrew to Hill Wallack,” said Michael Kahme, Managing Partner. “Each brings exceptional experience and a client-focused approach that aligns perfectly with our commitment to delivering strategic, results-driven counsel. Their additions strengthen our ability to serve clients across a broad range of complex matters.”
