Princeton, NJ May 27, 2014 --- Hill Wallack LLP attorney Ryan A. Marrone has been elected to the Hamilton Area YMCA Board of Directors. Mr. Marrone is counsel in the Princeton, NJ office of the firm and a member of the Business & Commercial and Commercial Leasing practice groups.

Since 1951, the Hamilton Area YMCA has been providing Hamilton Township and surrounding areas with a family friendly recreation outlet. They offer everything from childcare to cardio free weights, senior services to teen mentoring and development, and so much more. Their goal is to maximize every resident’s potential in achieving better physical, mental and spiritual fitness, and living a healthier, more rewarding life.

Mr. Marrone has over sixteen years of experience representing private and public companies, including several Fortune 100 companies, in various capacities. He concentrates his practice on renewable energy and sustainability with experience handling over $750MM in transactions for the finance and development of solar projects across the United States. He otherwise concentrates on providing general counsel services to small and mid-sized businesses. His broad legal experience and entrepreneurial background enable him to bring a fresh approach to representing companies.

Additionally, Mr. Marrone provides comprehensive legal counsel to solar integration companies, hedge funds, private equity funds, developers, financial institutions, and property owners for their commercial, industrial, residential, and farm installations. This representation includes obtaining local zoning approvals, preparing and negotiating PPA, SLA, BOT, and other related contracts, the implementation of risk avoidance measures associated with solar installations, and legal guidance in structuring qualifying projects in compliance with Internal Revenue Code ITC and Treasury ARRA 1603 grant regulations.

A graduate of Widener University School of Law and Seton Hall University, Mr. Marrone is admitted to practice in New Jersey and the District of Columbia. In addition to his involvement with the Hamilton Area YMCA, Mr. Marrone is a member of Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Hamilton’s Professional Affairs Committee. He is also a Board Member of the Center for Faith & Justice which inspires the next generation of leaders by creating programs to serve those in need and educate for justice in the Catholic tradition.
