    INSURANCE DEFENSE, INSURANCE COVERAGE & LITIGATION  (Princeton Office) 

    Hill Wallack LLP is looking for a New Jersey licensed attorney with at least 2 years’ experience in insurance defense and/or insurance coverage. Attorney will be responsible to defend lawsuits asserting claims based upon negligence, product liability, governmental liability, professional liability, and employment practices liability.  Attorney will also work with partners regarding first and third party insurance litigation.  Candidate must have an ability to work independently and effectively with colleagues and clients in a remote setting. Candidate must be proficient in technology, legal research and other computer/web based data sources. Writing sample and references are required. Clerkship following law school is preferred.     LITIGATION (Princeton Office) 

    Hill Wallack LLP is looking for an associate attorney with 2-5 years' experience in insurance defense/tort litigation and/or insurance coverage. Writing sample and references required. Clerkship following law school also preferred. Attorney will work side by side with partners in complex and/or catastrophic tort and insurance litigation and provide support for trials, hearings and other legal proceedings.

    PARALEGAL (Cedar Knolls Office)

    Hill Wallack LLP is seeking a fulltime paralegal in its Cedar Knolls office. The candidate should have 5+ years with Real Estate, Corporate and Banking experience, including but not limited to commercial lending transactions and coordination of due diligence for a variety of commercial transactions. College degree and a paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program or related job experience preferred. Strong work ethic and ability as a self-starter. Candidates must be highly organized and able to efficiently handle multiple tasks at once. Must possess the ability to prioritize, work as part of a team, and have excellent written and verbal skills.   Must have excellent computer skills with a thorough knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook.     REAL ESTATE PARALEGAL (Princeton Office)

    Hill Wallack LLP has an immediate opening for a Real Estate Paralegal with 2+ years of residential and commercial real estate experience for a full-time position in our Princeton location. The ideal candidate would have experience representing Sellers in REO transactions, and would have a working knowledge of New Jersey foreclosure law and procedure. The Real Estate Paralegal will assist the supervising attorney with all aspects of real estate transactions from contract to closing. Essential functions will include (a) handling all client communications such as follow ups on scheduling, information and transaction updates, (b) review of residential contracts and preparation of attorney review correspondences and contract addendums, (c) interacting and communicating with clients, adversaries, title companies and other involved parties on status of transactions, deadlines, etc., (d) maintaining spreadsheet with detailed ongoing status of transaction including date of receipt of deposit funds, date of entry of applicable court orders and closing dates, and (e) providing general administrative assistance to the supervising attorney.  Strong organizational and motivational skills required. Ideal candidates will have demonstrated a high level of independence and legal acumen with a friendly demeanor. Pay is commensurate with experience.

    LEGAL SECRETARY (Princeton Office)

    IMMEDIATE OPENING - The firm seeks a legal secretary with 2+ years litigation experience, excellent typing and organizational skills, Dictaphone and Word required. Salary commensurate w/experience

    TRADEMARK PARALEGAL/ASSISTANT (Princeton Office)

    Strong administrative background with Trademark experience required. Duties include managing docketing software, preparing documents and communications specific to trademarks and patents. Facilitate and schedule meetings. Manage follow-ups and deadlines. Interface with attorneys, clients, agents and inventors. Knowledge of and experience with USPTO Trademark and Patent database. Attention to detail, resourceful, self-starter with can do winning attitude and desire to constantly learn and succeed in the practice of law as a career.

    Responsibilities:
    • Assist attorneys with IP matters related to prosecution, litigation, deposition and trial prep, primarily involving Trademarks
    • Prep filings with TEAS and PAIR
    • Correspond and interact with opposing counsel, federal agents, clients, potential clients, foreign counsel and vendors
    • Document review, proof reading, editing and formatting
    • Maintaining calendars and communicating with attorneys to meet deadlines
    • Assisting with business development, marketing and client retention
    • Assisting with case management, maintenance and organization of files
