    Denise M. Bowman To Be Honored By YWCA Bucks County

    Yardley, PA May 14, 2014 --- Hill Wallack LLP partner Denise M. Bowman will be honored at the 23rd Annual Salute to Women Who Make a Difference Awards Dinner, an event to celebrate and honor the achievements of outstanding Bucks County women, presented by YWCA Bucks County.

    Ms. Bowman, a partner in the firm’s Yardley office, has been an active member of Bucks County for many years. Her practice focuses on representing many businesses within the community. She also represents clients on a pro bono basis in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey, including individuals involved in abusive relationships. A trained mediator, Ms. Bowman serves as a voluntary mediator in the Bucks County Mortgage Foreclosure Diversion program, designed to help keep Bucks County residents in their homes.

    Additionally, Ms. Bowman serves on the Board of Lower Bucks County Chamber of Commerce. She served as pro bono counsel to the Board in 2012 and 2013 and next year will serve as its Chair. She has served on the Boards of the YWCA and the Red Cross as well as on a Family Services Association (FSA) committee formed to assist with the transition of the Bucks County Homeless Shelter from the Red Cross to FSA. In June, Ms. Bowman and many of her Hill Wallack colleagues will serve as volunteers at the 2014 Special Olympics USA Games.

    The Salute to Women Who Make a Difference event will be held on Thursday, May 15, 2014, at the Sheraton Bucks County Hotel in Langhorne, PA. Cocktail reception begins at 6:00pm. Hill Wallack LLP attorney Felicity S. Hanks is a member of the Board of Directors of the YWCA Bucks County.
