    Jonathan H. Katz Among CAI-NJ Members Honored with 2013 Chapter Achievement Award

    Princeton, NJ – May 5, 2014 --- The New Jersey Chapter of the Community Associations Institute (CAI-NJ) will receive a Chapter Achievement Award at this year’s CAI Annual Conference as a result of the Editorial Committee’s efforts on the January 2013 “Restore the Shore” issue of Community Trends. Community Trends is a monthly magazine published by CAI-NJ through the work of the Editorial Committee, and it is distributed to CAI-NJ’s over 1,600 members. Hill Wallack LLP attorney Jonathan H. Katz served as Chair of the Editorial Committee during the creation and production of the “Restore the Shore” issue.

    The “Restore the Shore” issue focused on the impact of Superstorm Sandy in October 2012, with contributors who offered their first-hand experiences and pictures from the storm and its aftermath. The issue also included informative articles on what you should do before and after a natural disaster.

    Mr. Katz was a member of CAI-NJ’s Editorial Committee since 2010 and served as Chair from 2012 through 2013. He is Counsel in the Princeton, N.J. office of Hill Wallack LLP, a member of the firm’s Community Associations practice group, and is the editor of Hill Wallack LLP’s Condominium and HOA Law blog www.condolawnj.com. Mr. Katz concentrates his practice in the areas of community association law and general litigation, representing condominium and homeowners associations throughout New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania.    

    The 2014 CAI Annual Conference and Exposition will be held May 14-17 in Orlando, Florida.
