Hill Wallack LLP Sponsors Fundraiser To Support SAVE: SAVE Is The Largest Shelter For Companion Animals In The Princeton Area
Princeton, NJ – The Princeton, NJ office of Hill Wallack LLP recently spearheaded a drive to raise much needed funds and resources for SAVE, founded in 1941, and dedicated to protecting the health and welfare of homeless companion animals in the greater Princeton area. Attorney Laura A. Schaff led the fundraising efforts by reaching out to local businesses and to the attorneys and staff of Hill Wallack LLP.
Along with Hill Wallack LLP, the other local organizations that supported this cause included Small World Coffee, Gratitude Yoga, and Bent Spoon. Generous donations of dog and cat food, treats, bowls, crates, carriers, blankets and a 5ft. by 4ft. cat condo were collected in bins at the participating locations throughout the month of August. An additional $500 was raised from the caring members of the Princeton community.
“The feedback from the community has been wonderful”, said Ms. Schaff. “These adorable dogs and cats are grateful to all who have donated and they now have the opportunity to become a valued member of someone’s family”.
SAVE operates as a limited admission shelter with contracts to serve Princeton Township, Princeton Borough and Lawrence Township animal control centers. SAVE depends mostly on private contributions to support its six core programs. The shelter facility houses approximately 75 dogs and cats at a time, and helps an average of 400 animals a year.
