  • Ernest joins us as a Non-Equity partner with our Creditors Rights Department and is based in the Chicago office of Hill Wallack LLP. 

    Ernest's clients include banks, lenders, and mortgage servicers. He has extensive experience in various types of commercial litigation. He has conducted more than 35 jury trials, and more than 150 arbitrations for plaintiffs and defendants. He has also successfully represented clients in numerous appeals, in various jurisdictions.

    Ernest earned his Juris Doctor from Emory University School of Law in Atlanta, Georgia, and his Bachelor of the Arts from the University of Iowa.

    He is a member of the Chicago, Illinois and American Bar Associations, and the Mortgage Bankers Association.

    Ernest is admitted to practice law in Illinois and Florida, as well as in the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth and Eleventh Circuits, the United States District Courts for the Northern District of Illinois (including Trial Bar) and the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida. Ernest has also been admitted pro hac vice in various jurisdictions around the country.
