Yardley, PA -- Francis J. Sullivan, partner of the Yardley law firm of Hill Wallack LLP recently was elected to the Board of Directors of the United Way of Bucks County. United Way of Bucks County identifies and builds on community strengths and assets, helps individuals and groups with specific community interests find ways to contribute their time and talents, supports direct-service programs and community-change efforts, and advocates for public policy changes.

This is done in collaboration with diverse partners. United Way works with schools, government agencies, businesses, organized labor, financial institutions, community development corporations, voluntary and neighborhood associations, the faith community, and others. Although there are approximately 1,300 United Ways nationally, each organization is autonomous, and the issues United Ways address are determined locally.

Francis J. Sullivan is the partner-in-charge of the firm’s Business & Commercial and Trusts & Estates Practice Groups. Mr. Sullivan concentrates his practice in the representation of corporate entities and partnerships, buying and selling businesses and real estate, tax and regulatory issues, as well as obtaining and structuring financing to further his clients' business needs, growth and development. He advises clients on the planning, organizing, restructuring and governance of new and existing business entities, including the documenting of the relationship between and among the business entity and its owners.

A resident of Yardley, PA, he is a member of the American Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Bucks County Bar Association. Mr. Sullivan earned both his Law Degree, and Master of Laws in Taxation, from Villanova University School of Law. He earned a Certificate in Estate Planning from the Graduate Tax Division of Temple University School of Law and obtained his B.A. from La Salle University.
