Hill Wallack LLP procures “Iron Oxide” in support of the newly formed Hopewell Valley Arts Council

Princeton, NJ May 28, 2015--- Hill Wallack LLP is proud to announce the acquisition of one of the 69 Oxen that went up for auction on January 24, 2015 to launch the Hopewell Valley Arts Council.

“Iron Oxide” was designed and created by Kristen Birdsey, and is Olly the Ox wearing a weathered suit of armor. The artist wanted to showcase the Ox’s strength, and in her words “How could I make a tough animal even tougher?” The armor is painted on; however Kristen also used Magic Sculpt to create seams emulating an actual suit of armor. She also used real chainmail, in keeping with the realistic theme.

“We are delighted to be able to show our support for the arts in the community, especially to do so in such a unique and public way”, said Hill Wallack LLP Managing Partner Robert W. Bacso. Mr. Bacso and his wife Kim also own “Agricolox”, which is on display on Route 518 at their home in West Amwell Township, and Counsel Ryan P. Kennedy and his wife Mary own “Jersey Strong” on display at their home in Hopewell Borough.

The auction proceeds from “The Stampede” have raised over $100,000 to support the ignition of the Hopewell Valley Arts Council, and to fund future programs and exhibits. “Iron Oxide” is now on display in front of the new Hill Wallack LLP Princeton Building.
