Princeton, NJ - Hill Wallack LLP Partner Paul P. Josephson is the recipient of the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Distinguished Legislative Service Award for the second time. This award was created by the NJSBA Board of Trustees as the highest recognition available to an NJSBA member to acknowledge noteworthy legislative service. Created in 1991, this annual award is the State Bar’s opportunity to recognize extraordinary commitment to the Bar’s legislative goals.Hill Wallack LLP Partner Receives Second NJSBA Distinguished Legislative Service Award
As Chair of the Administrative Law Section of the State Bar Association, Mr. Josephson has worked to communicate the State Bar’s position on legislative and regulatory matters. He also has assisted the State Bar in legislation to make decisions of administrative law judges final, in Election Law Enforcement Commission regulations, and in presenting testimony before the New Jersey Red Tape Review Commission. Mr. Josephson previously received this award in 2005 for his work on New Jersey lobbying regulations on behalf of the State Bar.
Mr. Josephson is a partner in the Princeton, N.J. office of Hill Wallack LLP. He is partner-in-charge of the Firm’s Regulatory and Government Affairs and Gaming Law Practice Groups. He is also a principal in the Firm’s public policy and media affiliate, Government Process Solutions LLC. Mr. Josephson has broad experience in the field of Government Services and Regulatory Law, synthesizing legal, media and public affairs strategies to achieve his clients’ goals.
Mr. Josephson served as Chief Counsel to the Governor and as Chief of Authorities, representing the Governor on more than 50 bi-state and state authorities including the Port Authority of New York and Jersey, Delaware River Port Authority, Delaware River and Bay Authority, New Jersey Transit, New Jersey Turnpike Authority and the New Jersey Pinelands and Meadowlands Commissions.
