William P. Murtha Jr.

William P. Murtha Jr. is counsel in the Red Bank and Princeton offices of Hill Wallack LLP, where he is a member of the Complex Litigation practice group.

Mr. Murtha concentrates his practice in commercial litigation, complex civil litigation, regulatory law, and federal pharmaceutical litigation.

Prior to joining Hill Wallack LLP, Mr. Murtha had a diverse litigation practice in state and federal court. He was the founder and CEO of Outlinq, Inc., before returning to the law. Mr. Murtha is a former tennis professional, having spent many years teaching advanced juniors and adults at the Prospect Park Tennis Center in Brooklyn, and most recently at the University of Pennsylvania while he was completing coursework in interior architecture at Drexel University. He is a multiple fellowship recipient in documentary film and creative writing at the University of Cape Town, South Africa.

Mr. Murtha earned his J.D. from Vermont Law School and he graduated from Hunter College, City University of New York.  Mr. Murtha is admitted to practice law in New Jersey. In his spare time, Mr. Murtha enjoys traveling, playing tennis, and spending time with his friends and family.
