Joseph R. McCarthy is an associate at Hill Wallack LLP where he is a member of the
Creditors’ Rights/Bankruptcy Practice Group.
Mr. McCarthy concentrates his practice in all matters of creditors’ rights and bankruptcy, including workouts, foreclosures,
replevin actions, and collections. He has extensive experience in ERISA, individual life, health and disability litigation,
juvenile delinquency, domestic violence and appellate practice.
He previously served as an Assistant Prosecutor with the Union County Prosecutor's Office and conducted numerous jury trials
on behalf of the State of New Jersey.
A graduate of Rowan University, Mr. McCarthy earned his law degree from New York Law School.
Mr. McCarthy is admitted to practice law in New Jersey, U.S. District Court, District of New Jersey, U.S. District,
Eastern District of New York, U.S. District Court, Southern District of New York.
