Dana M. Lane is an associate who concentrates her practice in education and administrative law, regulatory compliance and corporate litigation including public procurement, employment and government litigation. She has a degree in elementary education and mathematics and taught elementary education, special education and 6th grade mathematics and reading during her four years of teaching in New Jersey and Massachusetts.

- Appears before the New Jersey Office of Administrative Law, Public Employment Relations Commission, Division on Civil Rights and School Ethics Commission on behalf of clients
- Represents boards of education and boards of trustees in complex tenure and labor association grievance matters
- Represents clients in the Civil and Appellate Divisions of the New Jersey Superior Court and at the federal level in the United States District Court of New Jersey
- Has successfully argued dismissal of several matters at the arbitration and mediation level
- Provides legal guidance to clients when making difficult employment and budgetary decisions
- Advises clients on the legal ramifications of various employment actions, litigation strategies and settlement options
Leadership
Ms. Lane is a member of the American Bar Association, New Jersey State Bar Association, New York State Bar Association, Mercer County Bar Association and the firm’s Professional Relations Committee. She is an active member of the Young Lawyers and Women Lawyers Committees of the Mercer County Bar Association.
Ms. Lane is admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York, as well as the United States District Court of New Jersey. She served a Judicial Clerkship in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Middlesex Vicinage with the Honorable Alexander P. Waugh, Jr., Presiding Judge, Chancery Division, who now serves in the Appellate Division. Ms. Lane earned her law degree from New York Law School, and is an honors graduate of Boston University. In law school, Ms. Lane was an active member of the Moot Court Team, through which she competed in various oral argument and brief writing competitions and received oral advocacy awards.
