Irene N. Komandis is an associate of Hill Wallack LLP and a member of the firm’s Litigation Division, specifically the Trial & Insurance Defense and Employment & Labor Law Practice Groups.
Ms. Komandis concentrates her practice the defense and representation of employers, management, businesses, and individuals, for a wide variety of claims stemming from wrongful discharge, discrimination, harassment, breach of contract and personal injury. She focuses on the representation of corporations, including clients within the insurance and retail industries, for matters stemming from premises liability, coverage issues, PIP and product liability.
Professional Activities
Ms. Komandis is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association; Women in the Profession Division of the
New Jersey State Bar Association; Young Lawyers Division of the New Jersey State Bar Association; New
York State Bar Association; Hellenic American Bar Association of New Jersey; and the New Jersey Defense Association.
Additionally, Ms. Komandis is a member of the firm’s Professional Relations Committee as well as a regular
contributor to the firm’s Quarterly Newsletter.
Ms. Komandis is admitted to practice in New Jersey, New York and the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.
Education
After graduation from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, Ms. Komandis earned her law degree from Seton
Hall University School of Law. Thereafter she served as Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Joseph P. Quinn, J.S.C.,
Civil Division before joining Hill Wallack LLP.
