Terry A. Kessler is
a partner of Hill Wallack
LLP. She is a
member of the firm's
Community Association Law
and Family Law Practice
Groups where she
concentrates her practice in
the areas of community
association law, family law
and real estate.
As a
former condominium owner,
Ms. Kessler has served on
the Covenants Committee
within her own homeowners'
association which enhances
her relationship with her
community association
clients. She oversees
the group's collection
practice and has lectured on
the collection of delinquent
assessments as well as
issues regarding
enforcement. She is
involved in all areas of
Community Association
Practice.
Ms.
Kessler is actively involved
in the New Jersey Chapter of
Community Associations
Institute (CAI) as a
frequent lecturer on
association law. She also
previously served as
chairman of the Chapter's
membership committee and the
conference committee. She
has served on the special
events committee and is
currently a member of the
education committee. She is
a member of the
Pennsylvania-Greater
Delaware Valley Chapter of
CAI and served on their
Trade Show Committee and NJ
Regional Council. She is
currently serving on their
newsletter committee and the
conference committee
She
volunteered for the Somerset
County Women's Resource
Center, where she donated
her time to advise abused
and battered women on legal
issues. As a breast cancer
survivor, she also
volunteers her time to speak
with high school students
about breast cancer as a
part of Hadassah's "Check it
Out" Health Awareness
Program.
Ms.
Kessler was educated at
Albright College (B.A.) and
received her Juris Doctor
degree from Seton Hall
University Law School in
1985. She began her legal
career in the NJ Superior
Court, Essex County, Family
Part serving as law clerk to
the Hon. June Strelecki and
the Hon. Alexander J.
Matturri. From 1989 - 1996,
Ms. Kessler was a partner in
the Hillsborough law firm of
Perl, Karpoff & Kessler,
P.C. which merged with Hill
Wallack in November 1996.
Ms.
Kessler is admitted to
practice in New Jersey
before the US District Court
and New Jersey State Courts
as well as Pennsylvania. She
is a member of the American
Bar Association, the New
Jersey State Bar
Association, the
Pennsylvania Bar Association
and the Bucks County Bar
Association. |
