Michael Kahme is a
partner of Hill Wallack
LLP. He is
partner-in-charge of the
firm's Creditors'
Rights/Bankruptcy Practice
Group and a member of
its Litigation Division.
Mr. Kahme
concentrates his practice in
all matters of creditors'
rights and bankruptcy,
including workouts,
foreclosures, replevin
actions, and collections.
His extensive client list
includes secured creditors,
creditors' committees,
unsecured creditors,
debtors-in-possession, and
debtors and trustees in
liquidation and
reorganization proceedings.
Mr. Kahme has also
represented purchasers of
assets and businesses out of
bankruptcy estates.
Mr. Kahme
is a regular contributor to
the Hill Wallack
Quarterly newsletter and
a frequent speaker for the
National Business Institute,
including the following
seminars: "Introduction
to Bankruptcy," "Legal
Issues in Problem
Collections in New Jersey,"
"Collecting Judgments in New
Jersey," and "New
Jersey Foreclosure and
Repossession." Mr. Kahme
has also been a guest
speaker for the Institute on
Continuing Legal Education
on "Collection Law and
Practice".
A
graduate of the University
of Rochester, Mr. Kahme
earned his law degree from
the University of Miami
School of Law. He is a
member of the Mercer County
and the New Jersey State Bar
Associations and the
Commercial Law League of
America.
Mr. Kahme
is admitted to practice in
all federal and state courts
in New Jersey (1985), the
U.S. District Court for the
Southern and Eastern
Districts of New York
(1991), all state courts in
New York (1986), and before
the U.S. Court of Appeals
for the Third Circuit
(1989).
