Keith P. Jonesis a
partner of Hill Wallack
LLP. He is a member of
the firm's Litigation
Division, Trial & Insurance
Defense, Product Liability and Insurance
Coverage Practice Groups.
Mr. Jones
has a practice representing
insurance companies and
their insureds in a wide
variety of legal matters,
including but not limited
to: catastrophic personal
injury; property damage and
economic loss stemming from
causes of action sounding in
governmental, professional
and product liability;
construction-related issues;
indemnity and insurance
procurement contract issues;
and conventional negligence
matters.
Mr. Jones
is a 1978 graduate of the
United States Military
Academy at West Point with a
Bachelor of Science degree.
Following graduation, he
served four years as an
officer in the United States
Army Corps of Engineers
before attending law school.
He received his law degree
from the University of Texas
at Austin in 1985.
Prior to
joining Hill Wallack in July
1991, Mr. Jones was an
attorney for the United
States Army and a Captain in
the Judge Advocate General's
Corp for six years. During
his term of service, he held
various positions at both
Fort Bragg, North Carolina,
and Fort Hamilton, New York,
including chief prosecutor
for the 7th Special Forces
Group and the 1st Special
Operations Command, and
supervisor of all claims
filed against the United
States Army for personal
injury and property damage
in New York City, Long
Island and five counties of
New Jersey.
Mr. Jones
is admitted to practice in
New Jersey and Texas, and
before the United States
District Court for the
District of New Jersey, the
United States Court of
Appeals for the Third
Circuit, the United States
Supreme Court, the Army
Court of Military Review and
the United States Court of
Military Appeals. In
addition, he is a member of
the Editorial Board for the
Hill Wallack LLP
Quarterly newsletter, to
which he is a regular
