Denise M. Bowman is
counsel in the Yardley,
Pennsylvania office of
Hill Wallack LLP,
where she is a member of its Business & Commercial Practice Group and the Litigation Division.
Ms. Bowman concentrates her practice in the area of commercial litigation, both at the trial court and appellate levels. Ms. Bowman represents businesses, individuals and municipalities in civil litigation matters, including breach of contract actions, suits involving protection of intellectual property, construction matters, negligence and strict liability actions, title insurance and other real property disputes, foreclosure actions, zoning appeals, insurance defense, coverage and bad faith actions, shareholder disputes, business “divorces,” and general business matters.
Denise also serves as a pro bono attorney for Legal Aid clients and an arbitrator for the Bucks County Court of Common Pleas. Denise is very active in her community and a strong supporter of several local non-profits and charitable organizations.
Representative Matters
- Successfully obtained pre-trial dismissal of fraud action against client notwithstanding appeals taken to the Pennsylvania Superior and Supreme Courts
- Obtained emergency injunction to prevent dissipation of hundreds of thousands of dollars of goods owned by client and stored at premises owned by third-party
- Effectively attained pre-trial dismissal of claims asserted against client in complex real property litigation

Ms. Bowman is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the State of New Jersey. She also is admitted in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. Ms. Bowman received her Juris Doctor degree from Temple University School of Law where she served as Executive Editor of the
Temple Political and Civil Rights Law Review. She has a BA from the University of Delaware in Political Science and Spanish.
