Representative Matters
- We serve as Land Use Counsel to the New Jersey Builders Association, representing the NJBA in a variety of concerns to the industry, including legislative, regulatory and litigation matters.
- Our attorneys are known for their successful pursuit of planning board approvals and development permits allowing construction of some of the largest developments in the State of New Jersey, including developments ranging from 1,000+ unit residential communities to office complexes, shopping centers, and houses of worship.
- We have also represented developers and others in redevelopment projects of various varieties and sizes. Our work has included the preparation, analysis and critique of "area in need of redevelopment" designations, and redevelopment plans, studies and agreements.
- Our attorneys routinely represent clients before the Department of Environmental Protection, the Department of Transportation, the Council on Affordable Housing, and other agencies involved in the land use permitting process, including overcoming the infrastructural roadblocks that often arise in the process.
- We advise clients on a variety of "green building" issues, including compliance with green building requirements.
- Where required to meet client objectives, we are fully prepared to aggressively pursue litigation to obtain permits and approvals that have been wrongfully denied by the government.
