The Hill Wallack LLP  Land Use & Environmental Applications Practice Group specializes in the legal evaluation of land and the processing of all necessary development applications. Where approvals cannot be obtained under reasonable and economically viable conditions, we concentrate in positioning the regulatory bodies in a manner designed to optimize the probabilities of eventual success through litigation.

We are regularly called upon to examine applicable zoning, other pertinent regulations, and any environmental constraints which might affect the use of raw land. We have obtained approvals of applications for uses ranging from the rudimentary -- as in a minor subdivision -- to the very complex, such as site plan and subdivision applications for developments in excess of 1,000 dwelling units, and we possess the expertise to secure the infrastructure and regulatory permits that are integral to all developments.
